Hi there, With the rise of artificial intelligence, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to tell truth from fabrication. AI can now generate voices, images, and videos that appear entirely authentic, making it harder than ever to know what, or who to trust online. While these technologies can be fascinating, they also bring a new wave of risks. False or misleading content can spread in seconds, shaping young people’s opinions and beliefs, before they’ve had a chance to question what they’re seeing. For this generation, growing up online means navigating challenges that didn’t exist before. We explore these challenges further in our latest blog: AI & Fake Media, an important read for teachers, parents, and anyone guiding young people through today’s online landscape. |
At LawEd, we believe education is the strongest form of protection. Our Cyber Dignity Workshops empower students to become digitally literate, helping them recognise misinformation, think critically about online content, and make informed, responsible decisions in an AI-driven world. We offer a range of age-appropriate workshops, each tailored to suit the needs of different year groups, including Wellbeing workshops for Junior and Senior Cycle, as well as Transition Year and LCA workshops that build awareness, responsibility, and confidence.
