Strategic Agreements between SOLAS and ETBs

The Strategic Performance Agreements between SOLAS and  each of the sixteen Education and Training Boards sets out the context, strategic priorities and individual ETB contribution's to the achievement of key national Further Education and Training (FET) sector targets over the period 2018-2020.

It also articulates each ETB's commitment to supporting the implementation of a range of national policies and strategies relevant to FET provision. Furthermore, it identifies the key risks and challenges which must be mitigated and addressed in order to ensure successful delivery of these agreements.

The agreements are the product of extensive dialogue and engagement between SOLAS and each ETB, with independent input and validation from a panel of experts who have an understanding of Irish and international good practice in Further Education and Training systems.
