The initial Vocational Education and Training (iVET) Module is an exciting new addition to the Transition Year (TY) Programme in schools across Ireland and is designed to be flexible and can be intertwined with, and delivered through, any FET pathways course that is offered by a FET provider. The iVET Module provides TY students with an invaluable experience to explore FET pathway courses in their local community.
Benefits for students include an opportunity to broaden their horizons, discover their interests and aptitudes in various vocational fields, and to help them to make informed decisions on the pathways they may wish to follow through and beyond senior cycle.
