PPLI and Oide Technology in Education are hosting an ‘AI for MFL Teachers Think-In’ on April 29th at the Athlone Springs Hotel. We are seeking MFL teachers to share their experiences on AI in language teaching and learning. This event will provide a space to collaborate, discuss challenges, and shape future supports. Foreign Language Upskilling Courses for 2025 are now available to all registered primary teachers. These are fully funded by the Department of Education, and currently available in French, German, Italian, and Spanish for non-beginners. Courses are offered in-person at a variety of venues, online, or in a blended format. Read more>>
We are recruiting Associates! PPLI Associates are registered or retired teachers or school managers. They are engaged in a part-time capacity to contribute to, support, and expand our work in language teaching and learning. We are currently seeking Associates in Dublin, Galway, Mayo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick, but applications from all counties are welcome. For more information see here>>
Registrations for 2025 – 2027 Saturday Classes are now open! Classes are open to students entering 5th year in September 2025, and are offered for Chinese, Japanese, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian and Russian, in a variety of venues as well as online. For more information visit here>>

Languages Connect funding has been granted to five language Summer Camps that will take place across the country this summer. The languages for this year's camps include Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Lithuanian. For more information see here>>
