Our Elite Sports Scholarships are open to incoming and current undergraduate and postgraduate students at MIC Limerick and MIC Thurles, and are valued at between €1,000 and €4,000. This year’s recipients of Elite Sports Scholarships include Kerry senior footballer, Aoife Dillane (pictured), Clare senior hurler, Shane Meehan, Irish and Connacht rugby player, Clara Barrett, Laois senior footballer, Katie Donoghue, and Clare u-20s hurler, Ronan O’Connor.
MIC’s CAO Points Concession Sports Scheme is an academic entry scheme for those applying to study at MIC Limerick or MIC Thurles who have achieved a high-level of sporting performance. Successful applicants could be eligible for a points reduction of up to 40 points below the first round CAO points cut-off for their programme of choice.
Applications for MIC’s Elite Sports Scholarships and CAO Points Concession Sports Scheme are now open and will close on 1 May.
