The statistics are alarming:

54% have seen pornography by just 13 years old.

73% have seen pornography by age 17.

52% have seen violent or non-consensual porn.

In our new post, “Exposed Too Young,” we explore how the normalisation of online porn is reshaping young minds, distorting their understanding of consent, sex, and boundaries. Backed by alarming statistics and real-world cases, the blog explores the disturbing connection between pornography and rising youth sexual offences. We also break down why so many of these young people are being rejected from the Garda Youth Diversion Programme, which was designed to offer support and an alternative to prosecution.
