The Irish Times Higher Options, now in its 39th year, has been the preeminent event in the country for Leaving Cert students to find out about further and higher study and career choices since its inception.

Higher Options brings together the largest gathering of Irish universities, further and higher education institutions, career and application information bodies, including the CAO. A strong representation of UK institutions attends, with over 30 exhibiting in 2024. European study options are available to explore and the dedicated Gaeltacht area showcases career and study options in the Irish language.

The event takes place over three days in the RDS Main Hall, Merrion Road. The dates and times are:

Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th September, 9am to 12 noon and 12.30pm to 3.30pm
Friday, 27th September 10.30am to 1.30pm

The chance to meet face-to-face with Admissions officers, current students, faculty staff, information and guidance experts is invaluable in helping to gather information to make informed choices about the future. Higher Options is the go-to choice for students gathering information on what to do after the Leaving Cert.

After a successful inaugural year, Higher Options will again run concurrently with World Skills Ireland.
