Equine Collaboration for Health and Outreach (ECHO), is a collaboration of the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise Campus (CAFRE in Enniskillen), the Irish Equine Centre, Teagasc, The University of Limerick and University College Dublin (School of Veterinary Medicine) with the mission to provide support and education relating to sustainable health protection of equines. The groups first collaborative event takes place on September 12th with only a few spaces remaining. A key focus of the event will be to familiarise attendees, in a very practical way, with the concept of horse health risk profiles. Attendees will also create a risk profile for their own farm. While there will be a focus at this event on managing risks with mares, foals, and facilities from before to after foaling, learnings can also be applied to other categories of equines. DON'T FORGET TO BOOK - AS WE CAN ONLY ADMIT THOSE ON THE REGISTER, AND MUST CLOSE 5/9/25 TO ADVISE CATERING NUMBERS |
