Teaching Coding

If you’re considering teaching programming through the creation of video games, then the following might be of interest to you.

I’m starting a new online course this Thursday on programming games with C# and Unity.

This 6-week self-paced course is designed to help instructors teach coding through the creation of video games using Unity and C#.

Each lesson is pre-recorded and released weekly, so you can learn at your own pace. You’ll also receive personal feedback and support through weekly Q&A videos where I answer your submitted questions in detail.

A few students (max 4) will also get 30-minute one-to-one tutoring sessions via screen-share or remote control (TeamViewer).

The course also includes teaching resources to support your classroom practice:

✅ Class plans you can adapt to your own curriculum
✅ Access to PDF books covering all course topics
✅ Lesson plans with clear objectives and learning outcomes
✅ Assignment and project ideas (from short tasks to full projects)
✅ Teaching tips to help students overcome common coding and Unity challenges
✅ Quizzes and key concept summaries

I’m taking 12 students only for this first run (though I’ll likely renew it if there’s strong interest).

If you’re interested, just send me an email and I’ll share all the details ([email protected]).
