Schlesinger Global Family Enterprise Case Competition (SG-FECC)) took place in Burlington, Vermont over the last few days.
DCU students David Byrne, Evelyn Keane, Sarah Muldoon and Rory Mulhern secured top place on both the first and second days of the competition, outperforming tough competition from leading universities like the University of Alberta, Utah State University, and Ohio University.
On day one, the DCU team kicked off the competition with a stellar performance, finishing first in the Oak Division and earning 8 points. On Days 2 & 3, the team continued their winning streak, once again topping the group to take first place.
We were also delighted to see Evelyn Keane receive a final round award for Best Presenter.
This prestigious competition, hosted by the University of Vermont Grossman School of Business, challenges students to tackle complex family business cases, demonstrating their expertise and teamwork on a global stage. Our students have shown incredible focus, preparation, and determination to reach this point.
