Employer Financial Supports
Department of Social Protection Work Placement Experience Programme

A number of new schemes have recently been launched by the Dept of Social Protection to assist employers hire new talent. A personal learning plan will be agreed between the employer and participant who will work for 30 hours per week over a 26 week period. The scheme offers eligible employers an opportunity to identify potential new hires at no cost. Further details available here  

Digital Training for Older Employees
Government 100% Funded 'Explore' Short Training Programme

Opportunity for employers to upskill older staff in various digital applications as work practices and job roles continue to change.
January 2022 Springboard+ Courses 
Flexible Online and Blended Part Time Courses

There are a range of Government funded Springboard+  short courses scheduled to start with both the University of Limerick  and Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) in quarter one 2022. Talent Retention Requires Talent Development

There are a range of courses now accepting registrations to assist employers upskill or reskill staff to support their career development.
