Problems with Online Learning

There’s no doubt that studying online is a very different experience to studying in a classroom setting. With school and colleges closing because of COVID19 many students are having to adapt to a new learning situation and mostly do it on their own. Online learning is not just as simple as sitting in front of your computer managing a few emails.

There are some benefits…

  • You can study during the COVID19 closures
  • And you can study at a time that suits you
  • You can vary your study schedule each week to match changing work or family commitments
  • You can work at a pace that suits you

… but there are also some challenges associated with it. Before you start an online course, consider how you’d handle some of the challenges. The content may be the same but learning to learn without a direct input from a teacher takes time.
