The national final of the #ThinkLanguages Champion Team of the Year competition took place at The Clock Tower in the Department of Education on January 23, where transition year students from Beaufort College, Navan were crowned winners, taking home the title as well as an amazing prize of a trip to Brussels. Read More>>
We are looking forward to the start of Term 2 of Say Yes to Languages. Training sessions are commencing shortly, and resources are already being delivered to the 720 schools taking part this term. Languages Connect are delighted to once again be funding heritage and lesser-taught language summer camps, with applications for funding now open. Interested coordinators have until February 28 to apply. The two-week camps are aimed at post-primary students attending school in Ireland. Read more>>

The World CLIL Conference will take place on 13 and 14 June at Maynooth University, co-organised by PPLI, Maynooth University, and Queen’s University Belfast. PPLI were delighted to host an online session in January to raise awareness of the new non-curricular Leaving Certificate Ukrainian examination paper. It attracted significant interest and high attendance.
