The aim of the course is to combine theory with practical industry experience to deliver a solid understanding of Engineering before the individual progresses in their career. The classroom element of the course will be delivered in Monaghan institute and the work based element will be in a relevant placement such as Combilift or other local engineering employers. On completion of the course individuals may be offered the opportunity to interview for employment or may wish to progress into further or higher education programmes.
This course is suitable for practical individuals who enjoy working their hands. Individuals with strong attention to detail, enjoy working as part of a team, problem solving and understanding of how things work.
There are no course fees, this course is fully funded.
There are no CAO entry points to apply.
