OEM Apprenticeship

The OEM Apprenticeship was launched in 2019 to address the demand for original equipment engineers in the machine manufacturing industry. It was developed by a consortium of industry leaders chaired by Martin McVicar of Combilift. You are employed by Combilift as an apprentice for the duration of the apprenticeship programme. You earn a salary while working in Combilift and studying a range of engineering related subjects. The skills that you will develop are highly valued by the Manufacturing Industry.

The OEM apprenticeship is a Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Original Equipment Manufacturing award. It focuses on the development of a range of skills such as Engineering Drawing Electrical and Electronic Technology, OEM Practices, Mechatronics, Analytical & Problem solving, and Industrial Robotics.
