New Courses in Carlow Institute of FE

Carlow Institute of Further Education and Training have introduced a new route to your Third Level Degree, Tertiary courses, starting September 2024. 

The two new degree courses at Carlow Institute of Further Education and Training and SETU Waterford are the:

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Health Care 

Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Services

There are no registration fees for the first year of the programme which will be delivered in Carlow Institute.  Students may be eligible to apply to SUSI for a grant to cover fees for Years 2 and 3. 

Highlights of your Third-Level Pathway!

1. Access your degree at your local FET college
2. No need for CAO points
3. Access to all facilities and services at SETU Waterford while at Carlow Institute
4. Complete your degree and graduate from SETU Waterford.
