Mountbellew Agricultural College Open Day

Since its establishment in 1904, Mountbellew Agricultural College, then under the governance of the Franciscan Brothers, has been providing quality education and training programmes, designed to meet the unique requirements of rural Ireland. Situated in Mountbellew, Co. Galway ~50km north east of Galway city and 30km from Roscommon, Mountbellew College places a strong emphasis on sustainability in agriculture and the environment.

Programmes available at Mountbellew have been designed to promote understanding of specific topics, such as, rural enterprise and agri-business, environmental management and recently, agricultural engineering. Mountbellew is a private college partnering with Teagasc, GMIT, GRETB and SOLAS in delivering a number of programmes from Level 5 to Level 8.
