microbit.org Website Now Available as Gaeilge

The Micro:bit Educational Foundation are thrilled to announce we have just gone live with our website in Irish / as Gaeilge https://microbit.org/ga-ie/ meaning all of our Getting Started introductory content, user guide plus over 100 Make it: Code it projects, Let’s Code and do your :bit SDG design challenge resources can all be explored as Gaeilge. All of our resources are for free forever and require no sign-up to access.

This launch is a huge step towards making our resources more inclusive and available to students all over Ireland learning to code as Gaeilge and will hopefully be a great support to teachers as they begin to teach the new STE curriculum in primaries from September. Enormous thanks go to our translators, support from COGG and our amazing proofreaders who spent tireless hours getting these pages ready! We hope your students and teacher networks find them useful.
