Italian Summer Language Camp

I am writing to share information about a fully funded Italian Summer Language Camp taking place at University College Cork from 15 to 26 June 2026, and to kindly ask if you could circulate this opportunity to schools, students and parents through your channels.

The Italian Summer Language Camp is a two‑week programme (Monday–Friday, 10:00–15:00) designed for complete beginners in Italian who are currently attending post‑primary school in Ireland and will be in 2nd to 5th year in May 2026. The camp is capped at 24 students (minimum 20) and is not open to students who have participated in previous years.

The programme follows a task‑based, action‑oriented approach, combining language learning with cultural, creative, physical and outdoor activities. Through games, projects and real‑life tasks, students are introduced to Italian language and culture — including food, cities, art, music, cinema, fashion and festivals — in an engaging and supportive environment.
