As we approach the sometimes exciting and mostly dreaded Leaving Certificate, DCU Library are here to help your students by offering two amazing opportunities to Leaving Certificate Students.

Leaving Certificate Study Scheme: Our popular Leaving Cert Study Scheme is back for 2025!

It allows Leaving Cert Students to study in the O'Reilly Library on DCU's Glasnevin Campus and Cregan Library on DCU's St Patrick's Campus, Drumcondra.

The scheme is free of charge and runs from Wednesday 7th May to Tuesday 24th June 2025.

Leaving Certificate Masterclasses*: DCU Library is delighted to present the return of our popular Leaving Certificate Masterclasses: Tips, Tricks and Tactics!

Dave Rudden, Aisling Sheerin and Eoin O'Mahony will provide support for the English, Irish and Mathematics examinations on the 7th, 8th and 9th May in Cregan Library.

The masterclasses are free but spaces are limited - apply via the Library website!

*Please note the masterclasses are being prioritised for students attending schools in North Dublin. Students attending schools outside of this area will be placed on a waiting list and any remaining places will be offered to them at a later date.

Last week, we officially opened our state of the art Polaris Building. We were joined by An Taoiseach Micheál Martin TD and James Lawless TD, Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science!

Polaris is the new home for DCU's School of Health and Human Performance, as well as the Faculty of Engineering and Computing.

"In Ireland and worldwide, the demand for talented STEM graduates is greater than ever, and the facilities Polaris offers will ensure that DCU students stay at the forefront of developments in this field", and we cannot wait for you to see it for yourselves!!
