What's your plan for 2025/26?

Many of you will have recently accepted a place at college. We understand that people move on and we wish you well with your future.

If you decided to take a year before applying, perhaps joining a PLC programme to give you time to prepare a portfolio, then stay tuned to our newsletters. We will send you important information over the coming months.

If you didn't get the CAO place you wanted but are really fascinated by the world of art and design, then you are not too late to apply for BA Visual Culture part-time. However, you should get your application in by midday Thursday 11th Sept at the latest. See the link below for more details.

NCAD Open Day is Wednesday 26 November

This is an important day for anyone applying to the CAO. You get the opportunity to attend talks, view student portfolios, and see students working in their studio spaces.

Portfolio Information Evening Sessions take place 20, 21, 22 of October

Monday 20th October is an online session for those based outside of Dublin. Those based near Dublin should attend in-person on either:

Tuesday 21st or Wednesday 22nd October.

Product Design and Interaction Design Portfolio Workshop is on 29 October

We have big news!

A portfolio is no longer mandatory for BA Interaction Design and BA Product Design. However, you can still submit an optional portfolio and have the opportunity to gain up to 200 points to your Leaving/CAO points.
