The underrepresentation of women in Irish sports media

Levelling the playing field: A new report by MU’s Dr Anne O’Brien of the Dept of Media Studies highlights the underrepresentation of women in Irish sports media.

The report, which was written in collaboration with the Federation of Irish Sport, explores these issues in an Irish context by interviewing journalists and media producers, reporters and presenters.
