2500 Attend Apprenticeship Open Evening

Number attending APPRENTICESHIP OPEN EVENING at Kerry College Monavalley Campus have reaching an all-time high.

Over 2500 school leavers, jobseekers, career changers, teachers, tutors, instructors, guidance staff and industry professionals attended Monvalley Campus last night. This is four times the number who attended the first event 5 years ago.

This free event featured over 45 exhibiting employers both national, regional and local. Parents, school leavers, career changers, returners, teacher and guidance counsellors could meet and chat with a range of apprentice employers, instructors, apprentices and apprenticeship services staff.

Panel talks featured employers such as ESB, Dairymaster and Liebherr along with instructors, apprentices and Kerry College staff.
