Open Learning Progression Pathway & End of Year Update
intended my previous email to be the final one for this academic year. However, I’ve since learned about a new Open Learning progression pathway that I believe will be of great interest to many of your students. Please see the details below. Open Learning Progression Pathways - 17 Degree Programmes UCD’s Open Learning programme offers students the chance to study part-time by taking first-year undergraduate modules alongside current UCD students. It’s an excellent way to experience university life, build confidence, and work towards a degree. The programme offers progression pathways to 17 different degree programmes. Please take a look at the attached brochure to learn more. Applications open in early July. New this year is a pathway to DN660 BComm International. Students can sign up to the mailing list here for updates and details about our upcoming information session on 30th June. University Access for AHSSL (Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences & Law) The AHSSL programme is open to young adults under the age of 22 who meet specific access criteria (similar to the HEAR scheme). SEAM+ is designed for applicants aged 22 and over. Applications are now open see link here and attached information brochure. Students unsure about which programme suits them best can use our Part-Time Interactive Guide. For further queries, please contact [email protected]. UCD Ad Astra Academy Scholarships Programme This scholarship programme supports students who demonstrate exceptional potential at an international level in academics, sports, or the performing arts, helping them to further develop their talents through membership in the Academy. See information here. I've attached a flyer for the Academic Scholarship, which is now open. I'd appreciate it if you would share it with any students you think may be suitable candidates. UCD Change of Mind Helpline Finally, a little reminder that our Change of Mind Helpline for students and parents will run from June 16th to July 1st. If you receive any UCD-related queries during this time, please direct them to our Change of Mind webpage using this link here. With best wishes as we head into the summer months.
