Springboard Courses 2025/26 launched and open for registration 

SETU has been approved for 24 part time courses heavily subsidised via Springboard funding. The courses are in areas such as engineering, science, cyber security, artificial intelligence, business and the built environment, aligning with Ireland’s strategic priorities. SETU also has a number of other part time courses, some of which are co-funded by Skillnets. However, places are limited and many have a registration deadline of 31st July 2025.

Companies Need to Build IT Skills of Workforce 

The Future of Jobs Report 2025 (by the World Economic Forum) has highlighted the need for enterprise to continue to invest in digital skills as technology related roles grow. SERSF has compiled a schedule of links to assist employers and their staff access suitable part time ICT related training and education opportunities. Full article here.
 

 
Laboratory Analyst Apprenticeship currently open for registration with SETU for September 2025 

Suitable for School leavers, existing employees, career changers, mature students, those returning to work, those looking to retrain/upskill.

Certificate in High Voltage Electrical Systems open for registration until end July and commencing in September 2025
Candidates are required to be qualified electricians and working or planning to work in a High Voltage environment. This 1-year part time programme is the only third level qualification of its kind in the country and provides a new benchmark in terms of upskilling and certifying staff working in High Voltage environments.
