Registration Now Open for UCC’s Saturday Coding Classes for Secondary School Students

Hosted by the School of Computer Science at University College Cork, the Munster Programming Training (MPT) classes offer an excellent opportunity for secondary school students with an interest in computers to enhance their ICT skills.

Two MPT programmes will begin on Saturday, 8 November, with classes running on Saturday mornings from 10 am – 1 pm. For further information, please see the details below and visit our website.

1)    MPT Junior

• Ages:13–14
• Dates:8/11/2025 - 07/03/2026
• Course Contents:3D Modelling / Minecraft / AI Video Production
• Price: €250 for 15 weeks

2)    MPT Senior

• Ages:15–18
• Dates:8/11/2025 - 09/05/2026
• Course Contents: Python and Algorithms / Minecraft Programming / Internet of Things – Sensor Programming / System and Web Security
• Price: €350 for 22 weeks
