Reach+ Career and College Preparation Programme

Programme Overview and Demonstration For 2nd Level Guidance Counsellors and School Management

County to County Online Roadshow 2021

FAO: Guidance Counsellors, Principals and Deputy Principals, will be travelling (virtually) throughout Ireland over the coming months to showcase our REACH+ Programme.

The REACH+ Career and College Preparation Programme is Ireland's most comprehensive, in-depth and multi-format careers programme available. Much more than any textbook, it is a complete, integrated, classroom learning environment that supports Students, Guidance Counsellors and Teachers of career related content, including TY, LCVP and LCA. The programme incorporates a Whole School Guidance approach unlike any other careers resource available.

It contains four key components:

  • The REACH programme book
  • The Students Online Career File & Portfolio
  • Guidance Counsellor Administration, Resources and Lesson Plans
  • The REACH+ Network Support and Training

The workshop will cover all aspects of the programme including:

  1. Introduction
  2. Overview
  3. The Reach+ Career and College Preparation Programme (Demo)
  4. The Reach+ Career Guidance Website (Demo)
  5. How REACH+ Supports Remote Guidance
  6. GDPR
  7. Programme Funding
  8. Guidance Counsellor Feedback on Programme Experience
  9. Q&A

The workshops are aimed at all 2nd Level Guidance Counsellors, Principals and Deputy Principals within their county area to provide a space for networking, sharing, upskilling and developing awareness of the key features and remote accessibility of the Reach+ Programme.
