Enrolment opens today, from 10am onwards, for our online summer courses for primary school leaders and teachers. Online Courses ![]() Digital Technology for Inclusive Learning (Primary), July 1-16 This summer course is for all primary teachers, including with mainstream teachers, those in special schools and those providing individual support to pupils with additional needs. Get a flavour with the short video included at the link below. The course was developed with key inputs from the NCSE. Approved for EPV days. Enrol from 10am, 7th May. ![]() Leading and Managing Digital Learning in your School (Primary), July 1-16 This summer course is for primary school principals, deputy principals, digital learning coordinators and team members, as well as aspiring leaders. The course was developed in partnership with the Irish Primary Principals Network (IPPN). Get a flavour with the short video included at the link below. Approved for EPV days. Book now via your local Education Centre. ![]() ![]() Met Éireann Collaboration Scoilnet has partnered with Met Éireann to provide teachers with a wide range of engaging ways to explore the topic of weather with their pupils. A variety of resources have been carefully organised into two activity packs: one for Infants to 2nd Class, and another for 3rd to 6th Class. ![]() Project Maths Legacy Resources Scoilnet has successfully migrated the classroom based resources that made up the Project Maths programme that many teachers across Ireland found valuable. It provides clear steps for assessing current measures, identifying areas for improvement, and accessing free resources and expert guidance. By using the tool, schools can adopt a whole-school approach to online safety. ![]() AI Aware Checklist Co-created by the Webwise Youth Advisory Panel, this is an AI Checklist for young people by young people! Generative AI technology is part of many of the tools and platforms that teenagers use every day, from social media to search engines. The Webwise Youth Advisory Panel share tips to help students understand when these tools can add value and their limitations. More News ![]() 21st Annual FÍS Film Competition: The Countdown is on! This is your school’s chance to shine on the big screen: we want to see your creativity in action at the 21st Annual FÍS Film Competition 2026. To enter, schools are asked to create an (up to) five-minute film (and/or animation) on a subject of their choice – closing date is Friday 26th June at 5pm. Before you begin, check out the rules and guidelines and judging criteria for further details and information on the competition, and please check out our Teacher Resources and Document Drawer to help get you started with your submission. ![]() 21st Annual FÍS Film Competition: Special Award Category This year, the 21st Annual FÍS Film Competition 2026 will have the option of submission to the special award category of: “Voices of the Future”: Stories from children to leaders about the future. Ireland will hold the Presidency of the Council of the European Union for the eighth time from 1 July to 31 December 2026. This year’s special category award is sponsored by the Oireachtas. The winner in this category will be awarded the “Oireachtas Award: Our Future, Our Voice”, receiving a special trophy and the opportunity to showcase their winning project in Leinster House. *Film submissions do not have to be on this theme. Participants will have the option to ‘opt in’ for consideration under this category at time of submission. |
