2026 will see the introduction of a new LLB in Law and Cyber Security (LM032), an interdisciplinary programme combining a full law degree with computer science modules. The course will have a maths and science subject requirement - Maths O2/H6, Science Subject O4/H5. The combination of law and cyber security opens up a wide range of career opportunities. Legal experts with cybersecurity knowledge are in high demand in areas such as compliance, data protection law, intellectual property rights, and cybercrime.
From September 2026, LM135 BA World Music will be changing title to LM135 BA Music, broadening its content to cover more contemporary, pop and other genres. It will continue to offer up to 200 points at audition and has a certificate entry route which is based on audition and interview only rather than Leaving Cert grades.
Orientation Week will take place 02 - 05 September 2025 and will help you to become familiar with the university, the campus, the facilities and services available to you in UL.
