PC404: BA in Applied Social Studies (Professional Social Care) – CORU approved

The B.A. in Applied Social Studies (Major) is a 3-year, Level 7 programme validated by Quality & Qualifications Ireland (QQI). This degree provides education and training for professional Social Care Work, is approved by CORU, and is offered on a full-time basis.

PC410: BA (Hons) in Arts & Humanities

The B.A. (Hons) in Arts and Humanities is a 3-year multidisciplinary degree, commonly known as a Joint Honours degree. On this programme, students explore a range of subject areas: History; Philosophy; English & the Creative Imagination; Psychology; Theology and Politics, before developing expertise in two subject majors.

PC411: BA (Hons) in English & History

The B.A. (Hons) in English and History is an exciting 3-year, Level 8 degree (validated by Quality & Qualifications Ireland, QQI), where students explore the outstanding literature of the English language and its cultures and immerse themselves in the history of Ireland, Europe and the wider world. The degree provides students with crucial tools needed for the twenty-first century by developing their critical thinking by cultivating strong digital, oral and written communication skills, and by fostering the value of creativity.

PC414: BA (Hons) in Psychology – PSI accredited

The B.A. (Honours) in Psychology (Major) is a 3-year programme is validated by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) and The Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI). This programme will help you explore how the brain works and help you make sense of the human impact on the world in which we live. You will explore the thoughts, feelings and actions of individuals and groups and understand how we think, behave and make decisions. The study of Psychology at Carlow College allows insight into countless intriguing facets of cognitive function.
