For entry in 2025, we are introducing a new course, the BEd in Home Economics and Technology (DC016), which qualifies graduates to teach Home Economics and Technology at post-primary schools. This is a 4 year course that will be delivered through an innovative partnership between DCU and the Technological University of Shannon (TUS). Years 1 & 2 will be spent studying at TUS campus in Athlone with Years 3 & 4 at DCU. ( similar to our DC015)
We are also offering a direct pathway to the BSc in Chemistry with Artificial Intelligence (DC160) whilst maintaining entry via the Biological Sciences General Entry (DC180).
Additionally, our BSc in Athletic Therapy and Training (DC205) now provides students the chance to earn a Master's in Athletic Therapy and Strength and Conditioning (Integrated Masters) upon completing five years.
