Leaving Cert Lecture Series

Carlow College are delighted to continue our new “Leaving Cert Lecture Series” this semester. Designed to support both 6th-year students and their teachers, this new lecture series offers a unique opportunity to explore key areas of the Leaving Cert syllabus in greater depth. Through a range of interactive and expert-led online lectures, students will enhance their understanding of critical subjects, gaining valuable insights and academic enrichment beyond the classroom. 

Lectures are FREE, but registration is essential.

20th January 2025 Classical Studies with Dr Noel Kavanagh

10th February 2025 Politics & Society with Steph Hanlon

3rd March 2025 English (Novel) with Karmel Knipprath

24th March 2025 History (Irish) with Dr Elaine Callinan

7th April 2025 Religious Education with Michael Sherman

Each lecture will be held at 2pm on the specified date and run for 45 minutes plus 10 minutes Q&A time. All lectures will be livestreamed and recorded for watching back at a later date.
