This module covers topics such as motherboards, CPUs, memory, expansion cards, hard drives, and removable media. The student will be able to install and remove these components to and from a computer.  Student should be able to make appropriate choices when purchasing equipment for a given type of user.  Formal classes will emphasise the key elements of a computer system and provide opportunities for interactive discussion on some of the important issues concerning computer systems.
