Dublin Business School have a range of courses across the field of Business, Arts and Law. Mature Students i.e. students over the age of 23 years of age can apply directly to DBS via our online application form. A copy of their photographic identification (e.g. passport), copy of their previous exam results either from their leaving certificate or post-secondary school achievement and a copy of their CV is also required. Eligibility for entry is assessed on a combination of previous study and work. For some applicants, previous work experience in the area of study will significantly increase their likelihood of getting accepted onto the course.
Decisions will be made on a case by case basis. The application process is now open and mature students are encouraged to apply early so they can secure their place on their course. The turnaround time for the application process is approximately 48 hours once all documents have been submitted. For students, where English is not their first language and they have not already studied through English, proof of English competency is required. This can be verified with an IELTS or TOEFL iBT result. Alternatively students can book a free English Placement Test in DBS.
DBS does not operate a quota system for mature student entry. This means we do not have a cut off number for mature entry applicants. Once you meet the entry requirements either with your previous exam achievement and/or work experience you will be offered a place on the course.
