1. IGC/AOA/CAO November Conferences - registration closes on 27 October
Thank you to those of you who have already registered to attend one of the upcoming IGC/AOA/CAO November Conferences. For those who have yet to register, please note that registration closes this Friday , 27 October. Please ensure that you register before this date, as we will be communicating final numbers with the venues on the 27th.
The presentations portion of the online conference (taking place on 10 November) will be recorded and made available to view in the Guidance/Schools section of the website from 20 November at noon.
In relation to queries around substitution, please note that CAO does not deal with substitution or certify CPD. For those who wish, we can provide a Certificate of Attendance on the day of the in-person event Those who attend the online conference will receive an email 24 hours after the event closes as proof of online attendance.
2. Information Sheets
A number of new Information Sheets can be viewed at www.cao.ie/infosheets - these sheets are also published in the `Guidance Counsellor Resources` section of our website.
There are seven sheets in total, one for each of the application form categories.
3. 2024 CAO Website
Our website is currently undergoing updates in preparation for the 2024 season. The application form and demo application forms will be available to view from 6 November at noon. Most of the additional resources have already been updated and are available to view in the in the Guidance/Schools section of the website (Guidance Counsellor Resources). The DARE HEAR sections of the website have also been updated, and the video guides will be available in December.
4. Schools Data Order Form
We will be in touch in early December in relation to the Schools Data Order form. Please keep an eye on the Schools Message Board for the December letter, Schools Data Order Form, and the end of season points charts.
