About the Course This is a new and exciting Tertiary Degree programme leading to the BSc in Intellectual Disability Nursing in Trinity College Dublin. There are 15 places on this programme.

As an RNID, you can work in a wide range of settings, including:

• Community services and day programmes
• Residential and supported‑living services
• Acute hospitals and specialist healthcare services

You may support children, adults and older people with intellectual disabilities, often working closely with families, multidisciplinary teams and community organisations. Work experience is an integral part of this course and it will give you a real insight into the role and responsibilities of an Intellectual Disability nurse.
