TUS has secured the highest graduate employment rate in the country

85.5% of TUS graduates secure employment within nine months, significantly outperforming the national average. 

For the third-year running, the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) has secured the highest graduate employment rate in the country, according to the latest Graduate Outcomes Survey released by the Higher Education Authority (HEA). 

The figures confirm that 85.5% of TUS honours degree graduates were employed within nine months of graduation—significantly ahead of the national university average of 74.9%. 

The survey highlights not just the quantity, but the quality of roles secured by TUS graduates. Over 62% are working in highly skilled roles classified as professional, management, or associate professional occupations. 

In a clear signal of the value of a TUS degree, almost 18% of graduates in the area of Social Sciences, Journalism and Information commenced employment on starting salaries between €60,000 and €69,999.
