Discover a Career in Tech: FIT Hosts Tech Apprenticeship Overview Webinar for Students in Wexford & Waterford

Ready to help your students look beyond college and discover real career opportunities after school? FIT (Fastrack into Information Technology) and WWETB (Waterford and Wexford ETB) are hosting a free webinar for parents, guidance counsellors and students to explore Tech Apprenticeships opportunities in Wexford and Waterford in 2026.

Tech apprenticeships are a unique opportunity to earn while gaining hands-on experience, achieve a nationally recognised qualification, and start a meaningful career straight after Leaving Cert or LCA.

In this session, attendees will get:

• An overview of FIT’s four Tech Apprenticeship programmes: Software Development, Cybersecurity, Computer Networking, and Data Analytics
• Insights into how Tech Apprenticeships work and what employers are looking for
• Step-by-step guidance on how to apply for 2026 intakes
• Q&A with FIT’s Tech Apprenticeship team
