Personal Story

As World Suicide Prevention Month comes to a close, we pause to reflect and share a deeply personal story of survival from one of our dedicated volunteers.

Stories of suicide prevention have the power to save lives. When someone shares how they made it through a suicidal crisis, it reminds others that support is out there, that change is possible, and that they are never alone.

HEADSTRONG Summit – Dublin

Next Tuesday, October 7th, our Dublin HEADSTRONG Summit, part of our evidence-based secondary schools programme will take place at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin 8. This training day is designed to equip Student HEADSTRONG Committees with the skills and confidence to lead our programme in a peer-to-peer manner, bringing vital mental health awareness and education to their entire school community throughout the year.

Each participating school/teacher is invited to bring up to 8 students from their Student HEADSTRONG Committee.

Primary Schools - 'Mind Me-Mind You' Programme

Access to our primary schools’ programme ‘Mind Me-Mind You’ has now moved to our e-learning platform.

If you have used our e-learning platform before (for example, to access pur ‘Mind Me-Mind You’ programme or attend our webinars), you are already set up and can get started straight away using the following link: https://cas-elearning.com/courses/mind-me-mind-you/

Please note: previously, our 'Mind Me-Mind You' programme was accessed via our Google folder, with the link teacher sharing login details with all other teaching personnel. From now on, each teacher must register individually on our e-learning platform.

All schools who completed either oue ‘Mind Me-Mind You’ or ‘HEADSTRONG’ programmes during the last school year will receive their Ambassador Plaque later this week.
