Dear Senior Cycle Educators,

Domestic violence incidents reported to Gardaí have increased by 162% in the past 8 years. These numbers are alarming and they show why early education is essential.

Our Coercive Control & Domestic Violence workshop is tailored for LCA, 5th & 6th Year students, who are at a pivotal time in their lives as they begin forming relationships. The session equips students to:

• Identify the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships.
• Recognise the early warning signs of coercive control and domestic violence.
• Understand their rights and the supports available to them.

Delivered in a sensitive, age-appropriate, and engaging way, this workshop gives students the tools to protect themselves and others, fostering safer, more respectful communities.
