The AONTAS Star Awards recognize the dedication and impact of adult learning initiatives and organisations that make a huge difference in the lives of adult learners. It is a wonderful occasion that celebrates the dedication and impact of adult learning initiatives from across the island of Ireland.

Any initiative, no matter whether it is small or large can be nominated, if it supports adult learners and is related to one of these categories:

• Health & Wellbeing
• Third-level Access & Engagement
• Social Inclusion
• Social Change
• Global Citizenship Education
• Learner Voice

The AONTAS Star Awards are an excellent opportunity to:

• Showcase your group or organisation's commitment to adult learning excellence.
• Gain well-deserved recognition for your achievements and hard work.
• Connect with like-minded individuals and organisations across the island.
• Learn from the best practices of award-winning initiatives.

These resources cover the four steps involved in nominating your adult learning initiative:

Step 1: Decide your nomination category for the AONTAS STAR awards.

Step 2: Register your nomination on the STAR Awards website.

Step 3: Share how your adult learning initiative empowers your learners.

Step 4: Submit your nomination before the closing date of the 30^th of October.
