New MSc programme in Applied Community-Led Development for Wellbeing

Applications for the Masters are now open for its first intake in September 2025.

Aimed to transform community leadership and sustainable development in Ireland and beyond, the new course was developed after a thorough consultation with community development providers across the country’s public and non profit sectors. It is designed to develop and train the next generation of community leaders by providing all the necessary skills and tools to bring about visible change.

The course was created in response to a growing demand for collaborative solutions, led by the community, to address various levels of social, economic, and environmental challenges. The programme is best suited for working professionals or people in a strategic voluntary role across a range of sectors e.g. disability, sporting, arts and environmental conservation.
