Hairdressing Apprenticeship - Cavan Institute

The apprentice will gain an internationally recognised qualification, Level 6 major Award on the National Framework of Qualifications and continue to earn whilst they learn with an employer of their choice, enrich their work immediately as they acquire new skills and enhance their employment prospects and career opportunities.

This three-year programme equips Apprentices with the knowledge, skill and competencies required to perform effectively as professional Hairdressers. It begins with a 2-week five-day structured induction in college and then continues with 1-day per in college per. The remaining days per week are spent with an approved employer of your choice, working whilst gaining on the job skills.
