The Green Future Index 2021

5 pillars to a green future: carbon emissions, energy transition, green society, clean innovation, and climate policy

This week we introduce "The Green Future Index 2021," a research program by MIT Technology Review Insights, the custom publishing division of MIT Technology Review.

The Green Future Index is a ranking of 76 leading countries and territories on their progress and commitment toward building a low carbon future. It measures the degree to which their economies are pivoting to clean energy, industry, agriculture, and society through investment in renewables, innovation and green finance.

Experience the interactive index now to better understand if your country is making the right investments in building a green future. In addition, you can check out this week’s round-up stories on humanity's greatest challenge–the global climate emergency.

Citrix Workspace—combined with flexible remote work policies—can help reduce a company’s carbon footprint. Citrix's products enable anyone to work from anywhere—reducing transportation emissions from commuting and promoting a shift to more energy-efficient devices.

By eliminating the need for applications and data to reside on endpoint devices, product sustainability is put into practice, and because no data is required to live on these devices, Citrix can extend the lifecycle of devices by up to 40 percent. This can significantly decrease an organization’s energy demand and reduce waste.
