Leaving Certificate Economics Teacher and Student Resource

Teachers and students of LC Economics will enjoy this 30-minute video on minimum wage regulation specially created by the Maynooth University Economics Department.

Dr Tuvana Pastine, Head of the Economics Department, focuses on the Leaving Cert minimum wage curriculum (first 18 minutes) and in the remaining 12 minutes she interviews experts and policy influencers. The first interview is with Paul Redmond from the ESRI. Paul received his Ph.D. from the MU Department of Economics. The second interview is with MU’s Professor O'Neill who was a member of the Low Pay Commission.
