Ready to take the next step?On Saturday 19 September, committed young performers are invited to audition for two of GSA’s advanced performance companies. Applicants may be new to GSA, but should already have relevant acting, drama or musical theatre experience and be ready for more focused training.
Ages 13–19 | 10am Develop your acting, singing and performance skills while working towards an end-of-year musical theatre production. This company is ideal for young performers who demonstrate strong potential and may be interested in further training or a professional career in musical theatre.
Ages 16–19 | 12.30pm Gain first-hand experience of creating and running a theatre company. Participants devise original material, produce a full-length production and explore acting, writing, design, publicity, costume and sound. The audition takes place as a group workshop, with nothing to prepare in advance.

Applications are now open for the GSA Part-Time Training Suite, our nine-month actor-training programme for adults who want to develop their craft alongside work and other commitments. Training takes place two evenings per week, with pathways for complete beginners through to experienced performers. Successful applicants are placed at the level best suited to their existing skills and experience, from GSA START through to GSA SELECT. A separate Musical Theatre Core programme offers year-long training in acting, singing and dance. New audition dates are now available online. The application includes a personal statement, information about previous training or experience and a recent photograph. The audition application fee is €65. |
From Tuesday 27 to Friday 30 October, young performers can spend four creative days acting, singing, making movies and bringing spooky stories to life. All camps run from 10am to 4pm and cost €220. |
