HDip in Science in Computing for Educators

Please find attached the new programme brochure and application form for the HDip in Science in Computing for Educators for the academic year 2026 – 25.

The programme is 100% online and has been running now for over 10 years. Teachers who have successfully completed the programme have gone on to achieve Teaching Council accreditation to teach Leaving Certificate Computer Science.

We also have a free version of the HDip in Science in Computing for Educators, funded through the Northwest Digital Employment Pathways Training Hub (NW DEPTH). NW DEPTH is led by Atlantic Technological University in partnership with Ulster University, Northwest Regional College, and Donegal Education and Training Board via the well-established strategic collaboration, the Northwest Tertiary Education Cluster (NWTEC). This version of the programme is free to students who live or work in the border counties or Northern Ireland. Please see attached flyer for more details.
