What attracts a student to a career in Business? Is it an interest in finance, entrepreneurship, marketing, management, economics or the opportunity to develop and lead a business? The possibilities are extensive, offering diverse career opportunities across many industries.
The Róisín Kelleher Career Interest Assessment helps students explore these possibilities. Covering eight major career interest areas, the assessment invites students to identify Business career titles that appeal to them. Each title in the Learn More section includes a description and hyperlinks providing further information about the careers helping students make informed decisions about their future.
Students can also explore relevant Senior Cycle subjects, including Business, Accounting and Economics and discover pathways through Higher Education, Further Education and Training (FET), Tertiary Education, Apprenticeships and programmes offered by the National Learning Network. These pathways can lead to a wide range of careers and professions at various levels.
Importantly, the assessment connects students with relevant labour market information, helping them relate their interests to real-world employment opportunities and demand.
Support your students in discovering their potential. The assessment is available to schools / colleges for an annual fee of €300, with unlimited access. The cost can be supported through the Department of Education's Digital Grant Scheme Circular 0014/2026.
Give your students a practical starting point for exploring their interests, researching career options and planning their future.
