  • Explore how ecosystems function, including population dynamics, community composition, and conservation techniques

  • Suitable for young people aged10-25 in Ireland interested in involvement with their local communities, actions and processes 
  • This course provides insight into local organisations and how to initiate community action through collaboration
  • Participants will complete a community action project from prep to execution, while maintaining health and safety procedures, project management, and record-keeping on resources, tasks, participation, logistics, and project impact
  • Participants will learn practical skills in project planning, hands-on project involvement, and understand the community influence as a result of their project
  • Participants must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and competence associated with Level 2 on the National Framework of Qualifications 
  • Includes classroom learning, group discussions, and peer learning sessions carried out in the ECO-UNESCO office in Dublin 2, as well as time spent in your local community
