Masters of Arts in Media and Electronic Arts - (Subject to approval)ITT Dublin

This Masters (subject to approval) will be  run by the Department of Humanities and the Department of Electronic Engineering in partnership with RUA RED Arts Centre. Graduates from a wide variety of disciplines, including but not limited to communications and media, architecture, art and design, computer science and engineering are encouraged to apply.

The converging disciplinary space between engineering, media and art has become a significant arena for interdisciplinary practice, education and employment opportunities.   This Masters programmes focuses on existing and emerging technologies and creative practice in media and electronic arts.

Programme Structure
This Masters programme will run part-time over two years, with an exit point after one year for those wishing to qualify for a Post Graduate Diploma. It will have a significant online component, carefully supervised to offer the highest standard of education in a way that’s tailored to each individual student’s prior experience and current requirements. A combination of laboratory work, supervised online tutorials and blended practice workshops and seminars will be used in delivering the course content. Modules will cover areas such as Physical Computing, 360 Video, Digital Imaging, 3D Design and Printing, Internet of Things, and VFX.
